Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences (Sudan JMS) is a project of the Continuous Medical Education program at the Faculty of Medicine - Omdurman Islamic University. Sudan JMS is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal which publishes four issues per year. Sudan JMS welcomes high-quality papers written in English dealing with Sudanese healthcare challenges, developments in clinical medicine and basic medical sciences in Sudan and the wider Sub-Sharahan region.
Sudan JMS endorses the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) Policy Statement on Geopolitical Intrusion on Editorial Decisions. Sudan JMS also endorses the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. Sudan JMS adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
